I really believe that if someone is interested in historic
tourism, at least in the western world, its necessary to start with the
countries of the classic civilizations. The countries that we now know as Italy
and Greece are the starting point of the culture that spread to the rest of
Europe. My interest in these countries lies on the existence of old remains of
their material world, buildings, monuments, roads, cities in general, etc.
I'm not very sure about how good these places are for
working, but as a student I have many options. Several old universities with a
long history and tradition have their institutions here. One of these is the
University of Bolonia, in the center-north part of Italy, and it is known as the
oldest in the western world.
In the same sense, Italian cities are small and very
pedestrian and cyclist friendly so I can go without worrying about how to
transport. And finally, even when Italian language is very easy for Spanish
speakers in a intuitive way, I believe that many Italians can handle with English
at least in a basic level, so communication should not be a problem.
Hey! you mention the University of Bolonia, but would you like to study there? And if so, which carreer would you choose?
ResponderEliminarItaly is a great place to go if you´re thinking on study out of the country!
ResponderEliminarThey are both excellent choices! what specific place, monument or building would you like to know first?
